Last week in my devotional reading I came across a verse from 1 Timothy, the second chapter that reads, "You then, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus..."
How strong are you feeling these days? Are you feeling confident in your faith and grounded in the love of Christ? Or, are you feeling weak and unsure about your faith?
Regardless of where we might be in our walk of faith, the gospels tell us over and over again that Jesus is with us. Jesus is fully present with us in his love and grace for us.
As we think about this we may very well discover that the greatest strength for our life and church comes outside of ourselves. It comes from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
May God bless you with the knowledge and trust that He will give you all the strength you will ever need.
